Chief Justice And Chief Secretary Meet To Discuss Administration Of Justice In Tobago

Chief Justice of Trinidad and Tobago, the Honourable Mr. Justice Ronnie Boodoosingh, and members of the Judiciary’s CourtAdministration team met with the Chief Secretary of the Tobago House of Assembly (THA), Mr. Farley Augustine, and members of the THA Executive at the Office of the Chief Secretary in Scarborough, Tobago, on Wednesday, July 26, 2026.

The meeting formed part of the Judiciary’s ongoing engagement and collaboration with stakeholders, including the THA, with a focus on strengthening court infrastructure and supporting the effective delivery of justice in Tobago.

Discussions centred on matters relating to the provision of additional facilities for courtoperations, including Virtual Access Customer Centres, assistance from the THA regarding property maintenance, and public outreach programmes to inform andeducate citizens about court services.
