MIGRANTS coming to the shores of Trinidad and Tobago might dwindle following the closure of the local United Nations Refugee Agency UNHCR office, says activist Sofia Figueroa-Leon.
The UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees) announced on Thursday that its office will officially close in T&T on August 31.
According to a notice on the UNHCR’s website, the decision was due to funding constraints.
