AN Arima businessman has been charged in connection with a stolen vehicle.
Abede Chalmers, 35, was formally charged on September 19 and is scheduled to appear before a High Court Master on September 22.
The charge stems from an incident on August 8, when police officers seized a white Kia K2700 van at Rainbow Trace, Felicity, Chaguanas. Subsequent enquiries revealed that the vehicle had been reported stolen during a February 17 robbery with violence at Upper Irvin Street, Petit Bourg, San Juan.
