(Kaieteur News) – Dozens of entrepreneurs in Essequibo, Region Two have received targeted business development training aimed at sharpening their competitiveness and market readiness, as the Small Business Bureau (SBB) continues its push to expand capacity-building support beyond the capital.
The training initiative, facilitated by the SBB, covered three key areas: Bid Document Preparation, Digital Readiness, and Label Design, each addressing practical challenges that small business owners commonly face in accessing and competing for market opportunities.
A total of 65 participants benefited from the Bid Document Preparation sessions, conducted in collaboration with the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board (NPTAB) at the Essequibo Technical Institute. Participants were guided through the key stages of the tendering process, including understanding bid documents, meeting compliance requirements, and preparing competitive submissions.
