A 34-year-old man was kidnapped and his father robbed at gunpoint in Penal late Wednesday night, police have reported.

The victim remains missing as of Thursday morning, with police and members of the Hunters Search and Rescue Team actively involved in efforts to locate him. No ransom demand has been made so far.

According to Penal police, around 11 p.m. the victim had completed sales at his burger cart, Best Friends Burgers, located along the S.S. Erin Road.
