Congress of the People leader Prakash Ramadhar said negotiations were taking place with the UNC for the party to have a place in the Cabinet.

While speaking to media at his office in Curepe on May 12, Ramadhar was asked what he thought about no Cabinet members being appointed from the party, given that the CoP was part of the UNC’s coalition of interests.

He responded, “There were negotiations, there were agreements, and matters are in negotiation at this point in time.
