Police are investigating a larceny after a woman reported that her cell phone was stolen during a church service in Port of Spain on Sunday.
According to police, the victim attended a service at All Saints Anglican Church on Marli Street and left around 7 p.m. She later realised she had forgotten her Samsung Galaxy A52, valued at $3,100, on a pew in the church.
The victim returned to the church but was unable to locate her phone. Using a “Find My Phone” application, she tracked the device to somewhere along Oxford Street, Port of Spain.
