Jamaica’s growing film industry is set to take another bold step forward on Monday, August 3, with the premiere of Redeemed: A Father’s Love; a faith-based crime drama that explores betrayal, identity, forgiveness and redemption against the backdrop of a family torn apart by a childhood kidnapping.

The film, which blends suspense, family, faith and redemption, stars acclaimed American actor Malik Yoba, whose performance anchors the emotionally charged narrative.

He is joined by an ensemble cast that includes co-producer Jacinth Headlam, veteran actor Cornelius Grant, social media personality Julie Mango, gospel dancehall singjay Prince Saj, Justin Awn and entertainer Safaree Samuels, whose recent public declaration of faith has drawn renewed attention to his appearance in the production.
