The Opposition People’s National Movement (PNM) yesterday called on Defence Minister Wayne Sturge to resign and accused him of deceiving the country about the United States’ radar system in Tobago which has been dismantled.
Opposition Chief Whip Marvin Gonzales, who is also the Arouca/Lopinot MP, said the disappearance of the radar “raises serious questions about the credibility of the minister”.
“Sturge has once again misled the citizens,” he added.
