WELL Services Petroleum Company Ltd will be called to the Industrial Court on June 26, 2026 to answer to charges that have been laid against them by the Occupational Safety and Health Agency (OSHA) for breaches in the Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Act that resulted in the death of rig worker Pete Phillip.
According to Labour Minister Leroy Baptiste, OSHA filed a complaint against Wells Services Solutions Limited, Heritage Petroleum Company Limited, Kenson Production Services Limited and Wells Services Petroleum Company Limited on June 17, 2025.
Under the OSH Act, Well Services Solutions Ltd is being charged under Sections 6(1), 6(2)(a), 7(1) and 13A(1)(a); Heritage Petroleum Company Ltd under 8(4) and 13A(1)(b); Kenson Production Services Ltd under 6(1) and 13A(1)(a); and Well Services Petroleum Company Ltd under 7(1) and 8(4).
