“I feel happy to be home. I was scared. Really scared.”
So said eight-year-old Abigail “Abby” Joseph after she was reunited with her family on Sunday night.
During Sunday evening’s inclement weather, she slipped and fell into a drain outside her Ward Lane, Gonzales, home. Luckily, she was rescued by a good Samaritan, Dillon Ramsey, and two police officers in the vicinity of Besson Street Police Station.
