PORTLAND, Jamaica — Newly-crowned Miss Universe Jamaica Celene Hall has arrived in her native Portland for a homecoming parade in her honour on Friday, two weeks after becoming the first woman from the parish to win the pageant.
The 25-year-old businesswoman beat 32 other contestants at the Grand Coronation in Kingston to become Jamaica’s latest beauty queen.
Hall’s convoy arrived in Buff Bay on Friday morning. She is scheduled to travel from Buff Bay to Port Antonio, making stops at several schools and communities along the way including Buff Bay Primary and the Port Antonio and Titchfield high schools.
