The Min­istry of Health has con­firmed the ar­rival of 90,000 vials of In­sulin 70/30, al­le­vi­at­ing a tem­po­rary short­age that be­came a full stock­out late last month.

Ac­cord­ing to an of­fi­cial re­lease, the is­sue was first iden­ti­fied in ear­ly June and in­ten­si­fied in the fi­nal week due to an un­der­es­ti­ma­tion of re­gion­al de­mand by the sup­pli­er.

To ex­pe­dite avail­abil­i­ty, the min­istry re­quest­ed ac­cel­er­at­ed cus­toms clear­ance and qual­i­ty as­sur­ance mea­sures, en­sur­ing the med­ica­tion reach­es pa­tients with­out de­lay. Dis­tri­b­u­tion to pub­lic health fa­cil­i­ties will com­mence im­me­di­ate­ly fol­low­ing ware­house de­liv­ery.
