The Ministry of Health has confirmed the arrival of 90,000 vials of Insulin 70/30, alleviating a temporary shortage that became a full stockout late last month.
According to an official release, the issue was first identified in early June and intensified in the final week due to an underestimation of regional demand by the supplier.
To expedite availability, the ministry requested accelerated customs clearance and quality assurance measures, ensuring the medication reaches patients without delay. Distribution to public health facilities will commence immediately following warehouse delivery.
