The nation breathed a collective sigh of relief on Thursday evening when 10-year-old Aiden Ramlochan, a Standard Four student of ASJA Primary School in Princes Town, was found safe after being missing for more than three hours.

Aiden was discovered on Bonanza Street, Princes Town, by a concerned parent who had joined the search after receiving a WhatsApp alert from the school about the missing child.

The alert was issued shortly after 3 p.m., when Aiden’s father arrived at the Naparima Mayaro Road-based school to collect him and was informed that the child could not be located, despite having attended classes that day.
