State Game Licence Sales Open As Iguana Hunting Restrictions Announced

The 2026–2027 hunting season in Trinidad and Tobago is set to open on October first and continue until February 28th next year.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries says State Game Licences will go on sale from Monday, September 21st, at designated Forestry Division offices and sales centres.

Each State Game Licence costs one hundred dollars per game species, with hunters allowed to purchase a maximum of three licences. But there are specific restrictions hunters need to note before taking to the field.
