Chairman of the board of management of the Pentecostal Light and Life Foundation Pastor Glenroy Frank has called on incoming prime minister Stuart Young to bring Sandals to Tobago.
Frank pre-empted an announcement later at the commemoration ceremony for the “practical completion” of the ANR Robinson International Airport in Tobago on Saturday by outgoing Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley that he has asked the Jamaican luxury resort to reconsider operating a location in Tobago, with talks expected to begin in a month between the Government and Sandals executives, including chairman Adam Stewart.
Frank said it was important for him to make his remarks, stating that the Church “have some sense”.
