…packed agenda as British monarch arrives in Guyana today
His Majesty King Charles III is expected to arrive in Guyana today – more than two decades after his last visit in 2000 – and during his two-day visit, the King will have a packed agenda with broad-ranging engagements, including a public meeting late Friday afternoon at the Kingston Seawall in Georgetown.
This State Visit, at the invitation of President Dr Irfaan Ali, comes as Guyana and the United Kingdom (UK) celebrate 60 years of bilateral relations.
