After years of alleged physical and verbal abuse of his family and neighbours, a Moruga man who was captured on video appearing to threaten his child with a knife and shove him to the ground has been arrested by police.
On Tuesday night, police arrested the suspect and rescued three boys—aged five, seven and nine—from a home on Moreau Road.
Residents of Marac Village, Moruga, yesterday told the Express they were relieved that the man, whom they said was an alcoholic, was arrested and taken away from the community by police officers as he had assaulted and threatened many of them over the years.
