A SECOND man has appeared before the court charged in relation to an incident in May in which the daughter of the owner of R&J Cell Tech was shot at.
Kennedy Henry, 44, of Ste Madeleine, appeared before Master Delicia Bethelmy at the San Fernando Court last week Wednesday charged with attempted murder. He also faced other offences of possession of a firearm, possession of ammunition, possession of these items to endanger life, and discharging a firearm within 40 metres of the roadway.
While a bail application was made on Henry’s behalf, police prosecutor Sgt Jacob objected to bail due to the nature and seriousness of the offence and because a firearm was allegedly used. Henry was denied bail and Bethelmy remanded him into custody. Dates were given for the progression of the case until January 15.
