Bolt donates $1.7 million to Waldensia Primary graduates

TRELAWNY, Jamaica — Sprint legend Usain Bolt brought cheers to graduates of his alma mater Waldensia Primary and Infant School with a $1.7 million donation to the 2026 class.

The generous gesture was revealed during the school leaving ceremony this week.

“Each child will be leaving here this afternoon with $100,000!” a school official can be heard announcing in a video shared online.
