The Linstead police in St Catherine are probing a case of attempted murder and arson after a man on Thursday night allegedly locked a woman with whom he reportedly has a relationship and her 11-year-old daughter inside her house and set it ablaze.
It is reported that the man and the woman had an argument, during which the woman ended the relationship.
The incident happened in the community of Charlemont.
