(Kaieteur News) – After excelling in a competitive selection process, three students of Camille’s Academy earned the opportunity to attend an all-girls summer camp at Florida International University (FUI) in Miami, USA.
The candidates, Renata Bhagwandin, Bhanie Rafick, and Mariah Seenarine who were lauded for their academic excellence, determination, and ability to rise to the challenge, participated in a two-week camp at FUI where they engaged in activities which fostered, leadership, networking, and developing business ideas. The students also experienced the campus life at FIU.
They were selected from among 25 students from the academy who competed in a social impact business competition hosted by the Casimiro Global Foundation’s Entrepreneurial Ladies Leading with Action (Ella Inc.) at Princess Ramada in Guyana, last April.
