(Kaieteur News) â It is said that silence is golden. Local Content Head, Mr. Michael Munroe, did nothing to change that situation. With every respect to Mr. Munroe, he is the wrong man dealing with the right issue in the wrong manner. I thank him for his courtesy in cracking the ice about 50 percent profit share for Guyana. Have a nice day, Mr. Munroe. Only the main man will do. Is Dr. Jagdeo in the house? Calling, Dr. Jagdeo. Calling Dr. Jagdeo.
Considering where the PPP Govt. has taken silence relative to the new profit sharing, I would say that silence isnât golden. Silence is barren. Vice President, Dr. Bharrat Jagdeo, a man of triathlon political stamina, canât be out of breath now. Ever heard Dr. Jagdeo, the marathon talker on the go? Apparently, thereâs a bump in his road; slowed him down. When Guyanese need to hear from their chief oil and gas policymaker, they are left sucking sand, spitting bricks. No offence to Mr. Munroe. Forget about silence is golden. For reasons unknown, silence hasnât been broken. Just given a polish.
