It is important for members of the Barbados Police Service to engage with communities beyond their roles as law enforcement officers.
Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley stressed that point today as the service hosted a Family Fun Day at the National Botanical Gardens in Waterford, St Michael.
She said the event was held to facilitate that kind of interaction and as a way of showing appreciation for the dedicated service provided by officers.
