The Ministry of Agriculture, Land and Fisheries has announced the appointment of a new Board of Directors for the Palo Seco Agricultural Enterprises Limited (PSAEL), a state agency tasked with developing and managing state lands for agricultural and other productive uses.
The announcement was made on Tuesday during a brief ceremony at the Ministry’s Head Office in Chaguanas. Ravi Ratiram, Minister of Agriculture, Land and Fisheries, distributed Letters of Appointment to the new board members and charged them with the responsibility of driving sustainable land development and supporting national food security goals.
The newly appointed board members are Danny Maharaj, Chairman, Rajiv Chaitoo, Deputy Chairman, and Directors Shanty Boodram Ambereesh Ram and Neil Ramsingh.
