Prime MinĀisĀter KamĀla PerĀsad-BissesĀsar yesĀterĀday asĀsured that since her adĀminĀisĀtraĀtion asĀsumed ofĀfice in April last year, no pubĀlic serĀvants have been disĀmissed.
āI have not sent one home, not one,ā she deĀclared, adding that she did not have the juĀrisĀdicĀtion to do so, as that falls unĀder the PubĀlic SerĀvice ComĀmisĀsion (PSC).
InĀstead, she urged the PSC to reĀward those willĀing to work and to end the long-standĀing pracĀtice of ofĀfiĀcers servĀing in āactĀingā poĀsiĀtions for years.
