GEORGETOWN, Guyana, Jul 3, CMC – Guyana’s senior citizens' transportation allowance of GUY$20,000 will be rolled out next Wednesday, July 8.
This is according to the Minister of Human Services and Social Security, Dr Vindhya Persaud.
The GUY$20,000 allowance, which was introduced in the 2026 National Budget, is intended to help senior citizens meet their transportation expenses.
