KINGSTON, Jamaica — More than 100 children received books, school supplies and book vouchers at Woodcats International’s annual back-to-school treat on August 21.
In a release, the company said the initiative, held at its Slipe Pen Road location, provided support to primary and high school students from surrounding communities, including Gordon Road, Paisley Road, Craig Town and the wider Slipe Pen Road area, ahead of the new school year.
“It’s a privilege for us to be a strong community partner and to be able to invest in educating and empowering the next generation of nation builders,” said Peter Douglas, general manager of Woodcats International Limited.
