The Guyana Energy Agency (GEA) has launched its inaugural Energy Champions Awards, opening nominations to businesses of all sizes across Guyana in recognition of efforts to promote sustainable energy and environmental practices.
The initiative seeks to recognise businesses that are making measurable progress through the adoption of renewable energy technologies, energy efficiency measures, responsible water conservation, waste management, and green building practices.
According to Nominations, they are open until Monday, August 31, 2026, with businesses encouraged to submit projects that demonstrate tangible environmental and operational benefits.
