Two Surinamese women have been remanded to Dodds Prison after being charged with multiple cocaine-related offences allegedly committed in May.
Kylie Bretni Banga, 21, and Celita Saskia Aloewanai, 41, are accused of possession, intending to supply, trafficking and importing one kilogramme worth $50 000 and 1.1 kilogrammes of cocaine with a street value of $55 000 respectively on May 23.
Both appeared before Magistrate Keitha Ellis in the District ‘B’ Magistrates’ Court and pleaded not guilty to the offences and are scheduled to reappear on June 29.
