THE family of oil worker Pete Phillip is anxiously waiting on a response from his employer on when his remains would be extracted from beneath the offshore rig that collapsed in December.
Well Services Ltd had stated it was aware of the location of Phillip's remains, but required external assistance for the removal. However, it remains uncertain how much of Phillip's remains can be recovered, as they have been submerged in water for 74 days.
Phillip's wife, Candacy Phillip, gave birth to the couple's fifth child on February 23 at the San Fernando General Hospital.
