Pan Trinbago President Beverley Ramsey-Moore has wished Rowley a happy retirement, thanking him for the work he has done for the Steelpan fraternity, which included the official designation of the Steelpan as the National Musical Instrument, the change of the Coat of Arms and the proposal to build a new Pan Trinbago Headquarters on Wrightson Road.
She also thanked Rowley for the "substantial financial support for Panorama—covering prizes,
appearance fees, transport assistance, and aid to bands" which they said advanced the cultural legacy. "
