GNBS PROMOTING STANDARD EDUCATION IN CLASSROOMS AND BEYOND

(Kaieteur News) – As September marks Education Month, observed under the theme, “From Classrooms to Communities, Education Transforms Lives,” the Guyana National Bureau of Standards (GNBS) continues to build on its efforts to bring standards and quality awareness into classrooms across the country, and to the wider populace.

Education plays an integral role in shaping school-aged children, and by extension, communities. GNBS has recognised the value of introducing young people to standards from an early age and has developed educational initiatives to connect with this demographic. Through these educational initiatives, the Bureau engages primary and secondary school students in activities tailored to demonstrate how standards influence daily life, from the products we purchase to the services we use.
