Citizens Against Noise Pollution in Trinidad and Tobago (CANPTT) has welcomed the passing of the Fireworks Regulation Bill, saying yesterday that the legislation represented a “long-awaited step toward order, responsibility and national safety”.
In a release lauding the passing of the bill in Parliament yesterday, CANPTT commended the Government and said the legislation “signals recognition that unregulated fireworks have caused real distress to infants, the elderly, persons with disabilities, pets and wildlife”.
