A 45-year-old man was found stabbed to death in a grassy area off River Road, Bourg Mulatresse, Lower Santa Cruz, on Thursday morning.
Police said officers responded around 8.35 a.m. to a report of a motionless body bearing marks of violence. On arrival, they were directed by residents to an area about 240 feet from the roadway, where the man’s body was discovered.
The deceased was identified as Dexter Marshall of Barrow Avenue, River Road Extension. He was described as being of African descent, dark brown in complexion, about 6 ft 2 in tall, medium build, and wearing only dark blue short pants. Several apparent stab wounds were observed on his body.
