‘Everything I owned was in that little house’

A Barrackpore woman lost everything she owns in a fire that completely destroyed her house on Monday evening.

Geeta Kubairsingh, 56, of Lalbeharry Trace, Branch No. 1, was attending a religious service at a temple in Penal when fire broke out at her home.

The house, she said, was a gift from her deceased uncle.
