ResĀiĀdents of FishĀing Pond, SanĀgre Grande, say they will withĀhold their votes on April 28 if the deĀplorable roads in their comĀmuĀniĀty are not fixed by then.
āNo road, no vote!ā they chantĀed as they protestĀed the huge potĀholes along FlemĀming and GenĀda Roads on ThursĀday mornĀing.
The resĀiĀdents say the roads have been in poor conĀdiĀtion for years, but their curĀrent state is the worst they have ever seen. LutchĀmi PerĀsad told Guardian MeĀdia that taxi driĀvers avoid workĀing along those roads, and to get some reĀlief, resĀiĀdents have had to patch the potĀholes themĀselves. They beĀlieve they deĀserve betĀter.
