(Kaieteur News) – Having received $13.4B in this year’s budget, the Guyana Sugar Corporation (GuySuCo) is preparing to spend its allocation to extend Cane Yard at Albion Estate among other projects.
Bids for the project were recently opened at the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board (NPTAB) which revealed that two contractors have applied to do the works. These companies have between $75.3M and $78.5M to carry out the extension of Cane Yard at Albion Estate.
Bids were also opened for works to be done at the Rose Hall and Blairmont Estates.
