LONDON, United Kingdom (AFP) — Footballer Raheem Sterling pleaded guilty on Tuesday to dangerous driving after he crashed his Lamborghini on a motorway in May.
The 31-year-old also admitted possession of six nitrous oxide canisters for wrongful inhalation and failing to provide a specimen for analysis when he appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court, about 50 miles southwest of London.
Sterling, who attended court wearing a black suit jacket, black trousers, black shoes and a dark top, was arrested after crashing on the M3 on the morning of May 28.
