Baby boy dies at home from asphyxiation

POLICE are investigating the death of a three-month-old baby boy in Charlotteville after his lifeless body was found at his home the day before Mother's Day.

Reports said the incident occurred around 11.20 a.m. last Saturday, when the child's mother found the infant motionless on a couch inside the family's home.

The mother alerted the child's grandmother, and emergency authorities were contacted.
