Linden man shoots teen girlfriend dead, then kills himself

(Kaieteur News) – A 17-year-old student of the Linden Technical Institute and her 21-year-old boyfriend were found dead following a suspected murder-suicide at Block 22 Squatting Area, Wismar, Linden, on Monday afternoon.

The deceased have been identified as Toisha Andrews, who resided at Block 22 Squatting Area, and Anthony Kellon Malachi Cato, a 10-day worker of Phase Three, Murphy Street, Amelia’s Ward, Linden.

According to a police report, the incident occurred at about 16:30hrs on October 12, 2026, shortly after Andrew returned home from school.
