Prime Minister Stuart Young will on Wednesday travel to Jamaica where he will meet with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio. The talks are expected to focus on United States foreign policy and the effect on Trinidad and Tobago and the wider region.
Young believes the bilateral discussions provide a strategic opportunity to highlight the importance of the relationship between Trinidad and Tobago, Caricom and the United States, and to focus on exploring areas for the deepening of cooperation, a release from the Office of the Prime Minister said yesterday.
