‘Big Joe’ Shot Dead in Morvant

Police are investigating a gang-related killing after a 33-year-old man was shot dead in Morvant on Saturday morning.
Dead is Jamal Carter, also known as “Big Joe”, of Chaconia Avenue, Coconut Drive, Morvant.
Police said officers attached to the Morvant CID received a report around 8.30 a.m. of a shooting in progress at Industrial Lane near Arneaud Avenue.
