KINGSTON, Jamaica â The West Indies Playersâ Association (WIPA) has expressed condolences following the death of veteran Jamaican photojournalist Headley âDellmarâ Samuels, describing him as a legendary storyteller through the lens of his camera.

In a release on Thursday, WIPA said Samuels had a lifelong passion for sports photography, covering track and field, football and, most notably, cricket. The association noted that he covered West Indies cricket for more than three decades, documenting approximately 175 Test matches and seven ICC Cricket World Cups.
