US President Donald Trump has said that Venezuelan President Nicholas Maduro had offered “everything” to the US in an effort to quell military tensions within the Caribbean region.

Speaking at the White House yesterday Trump was asked about Maduro, and reports that the South American leader had reportedly offered the country’s natural resources to the US to avoid US escalation in the region.

Trump, who was participating in a bilateral lunch with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, responded, “He has offered everything, you are right, you know why? Because he does not want to f*** around with the United States.”
