FORMER Public Services Association (PSA) president Watson Duke’s challenge to have the union pay him a pension will go to trial in 2027.
Justice Marissa Robertson has set May 18 and 17, 2027, as the dates for trial. Duke has filed three witness statements in support of his lawsuit. The matter came up for a status hearing on December 4.
In September, Duke was denied conditional leave to take his challenge of a preliminary issue which sought to have the union pay the pension while he pursued his lawsuit.
