A 29-year-old self-employed shopkeeper was shot and killed in a brazen late-night attack outside his home in Maloney Gardens, D’Abadie, on Friday.

The deceased has been identified as Aaron Ettienne, of 323 Jacobin Avenue, Maloney Gardens.

According to police, around 11.17 pm, officers attached to the Maloney Police Station received reports of explosions along Jacobin Avenue. When officers arrived shortly after, they were informed that Ettienne had already been taken to the Arima Hospital by relatives in a blue Nissan Almera.
