Contractor Shandon Arjoon was shot dead shortly before midday on Tuesday, along a connector road off a busy highway on Tuesday.
Arjoon, 39, of Mon Desir, was shot multiple times as he stood near a construction site on Oropouche Main Road, near the St Mary’s Interchange in South Oropouche.
A police report stated that around 11.20 a.m., Arjoon was standing next to the site where crews were at work, when a man, clad in a ski mask, a long-sleeved blue jersey and a pair of black long jeans with a black knapsack in front of his chest, approached him.
