The father of a 14-year-old girl found dead in her bed, in what was first suspected to be a suicide, has reacted with 'horror' to the autopsy results, which found she was beaten and strangled.

“To tell you the truth, I never beat my daughter or anything. The night before, no other time. Look my next daughter here. I have witness in the place here. Nobody never beat her (Andrea Francis),” Andy Francis told the Express in a telephone interview on Saturday morning.

His daughter, Andrea Francis was found dead two days after receiving her Secondary Entrance Assessment (SEA) result.
