Kaieteur News – A Rose Hall Town, Corentyne Berbice home was completely destroyed by fire during the early hours of Sunday at First Street, Swamp Section.

The Guyana Fire Service (GFS) said it responded to reports of a house on fire at First Street, Swamp Section, Rose Hall Town, Corentyne.

The building, an unoccupied one-flat wooden structure, was engulfed in flames by the time firefighters arrived. The Rose Hall Fire Station is located a short distance from the property, allowing firefighters to respond quickly and contain and extinguish the blaze.
